Diaper Drive

Currently, the average price of a box of diapers is $43.00. A family has to decide if they can buy food or a box of diapers. Historically, most diaper bank clients live below the poverty line, a federal threshold capped at $26,500 a year for a family of four. One in 3 U.S. families could not afford diapers even before the coronavirus outbreak. In the Bronx, located in the poorest Congressional district in the US, these statistics are worse. However, once the pandemic set in, and millions of Americans lost their jobs, the nation descended into a recession that disproportionately affected women and low-wage earners, leaving many to contend with eviction, debt, and food insecurity.

So if you can afford it, please donate. Let’s help Bronx families who need it. 

The Bronx Health Link is a leading advocate for increasing health outcomes for pregnant women in the Bronx. We define ourselves as a Bronx-based health education, research, and advocacy organization.  We link residents like you with health and human service providers, researchers, schools, and policymakers.  We collect and disseminate critical health care information.  We advocate for positive policy changes in public health systems and institutions. All donations are deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
