COMMUNITY OUTREACH SPECIALIST

Eleaquina Fabian graduated with honors (cum laude) from Lehman College in 2023, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Promotion. She is a resident of the Bronx, specifically within the black, brown, and Latino communities. A dedicated advocate, educator, and health promoter, Ms. Fabian is deeply engaged in fostering the well-being of her community. Her unwavering commitment lies in educating and empowering individuals and groups within her community to make informed decisions regarding their health.

Ms. Fabian demonstrates a profound understanding of cultural sensitivity, valuing the importance of embracing and learning from diverse cultures. This understanding forms the basis of her ability to apply cultural competence skills effectively within her community outreach.

Given New York's multicultural landscape, Ms. Fabian has honed her skills in collaborating with a wide range of individuals, enabling her to provide the most suitable assistance to those she serves. Her experience extends to collaborating with the elderly population and families, where she played an active role in addressing their healthcare needs, ensuring they received accurate information and appropriate services. Over her two decades of community work, she has significantly impacted the lives of those in her vicinity.

Ms. Fabian's commitment to ongoing learning is evident, as she regularly participates in conferences and workshops to remain up-to-date with the latest research and industry best practices.
